Workshop # 1 Blogging 101

  From Concept to Creation

Four Value Packed Weeks of Classes!

You will go from just thinking about having a blog or having one that isn't doing much of anything to creating a masterpiece that you can use to build your business, earn an extra income or just share your passions!

Class Dates and Times:

Classes will begin at 8pm and last for approximately one hour (may run longer depending on questions)

Can't make a class?  Don't worry, they will all be recorded and you will get a copy of the recordings so you can listen over again or at a later date.

You will recieve an Action Guide for each class will detail informaton about the class content, screen shots of what we are working on and very specific Action Steps for you to follow up on in the week that follows.

Here is the content Schedule Plan for each week:

Week One:  The Concept
  • We will review how to get ideas for your blog and where you can find great resources 
  • If you already have a blog or will be doing a blog for your current business we will research how to take that concept and expand on it
  • You will learn some basic keyword research that you will use in later weeks
Week Two:  Let Get a Blog
  • We will start with chosing and buying a domain name (if you want one) and getting your hosting set up and working properly
  • Setting up your blog is next (actually getting it online!)
  • Choosing a theme and plugins to enhance the look, performance and functions of your blog
  • Setting a schedule or a calendar for posting
Week Three:  Let's Get Posting
  • We will revisit keyword research for your post and titles
  • How to write an attention getting title
  • What to write in your post depending on the purpose of your blog
  • We've hit publish-now what?  Socialbook marketing to drive traffic to your blog
Week Four:  Monetize or Satisfize?
  • How is this blog going to make you money?  Or is it just going to satisfy your desire to share good information?
  • Using Affiliate Marketing to make money with your blog
  • How to link back to your company website or storefront
  • Traffic Basics
  • Rinse and Repeat

BONUS:  You will recieve a one hour consultation with me that can be used any way you choose.  You can take a half hour at the beginning of the course and a half hour at the end, one hour all at once or in four 15 minute time slots.  This is a $150 value that is your free for signing up for Blogging Basics and completing the workshop.
